Our 5mm Sound Deadening Membrane is a high-mass, flexible acoustic sheet engineered to provide superior airborne noise reduction and vibration control across a wide range of commercial, residential, and industrial applications. Manufactured using mass loaded vinyl (MLV) or a polymeric composite blend, this membrane is ideal for drywall partitions, ceilings, floors, mechanical enclosures, and studio builds.

With higher mass density, the 5mm variant delivers exceptional Sound Transmission Class (STC) gains, making it suitable for spaces where maximum noise control is critical.

• Density: ~6.57.5 kg/m for enhanced sound blocking

• Built from lead-free, non-toxic, flexible MLV or polymeric blend

• Easy to install: can be glued, stapled, or layered with drywall, ply, or concrete
